Our Story
DeepMeds was founded by a team of radiologists, AI researchers, and healthcare entrepreneurs who recognized a critical gap in modern medical imaging: the tension between diagnostic quality and patient safety.
Gadolinium-based contrast agents have revolutionized MRI, enabling life-saving diagnoses of tumors, vascular diseases, and neurological conditions. Yet mounting evidence of gadolinium retention in tissues—particularly the brain—has raised concerns about long-term safety, especially for patients requiring repeated imaging.
Traditional approaches to dose reduction often compromise image quality, forcing clinicians to choose between safety and diagnostic confidence. DeepMeds was created to eliminate this trade-off, using state-of-the-art deep learning to synthesize full-dose-equivalent images from minimal contrast administration.
Our first product, DeepGAD™, has demonstrated non-inferior diagnostic performance in rigorous prospective clinical trials, validating our approach and opening the door to dose reduction across all contrast-enhanced and radiotracer-based imaging modalities.
